Our Move-in / Move-out Cleaning Checklist

Moving can be a crazy time. There is so much to do and once you’ve gotten everything packed into boxes the last thing you want to do is get on your hands and knees and scrub.

But if you were renting you will want to get that security deposit back. And if you are listing or have already sold your home, you will need to leave those buyers with the best impression. A clean space with increase your home’s value.

Clean Home Club knows how important move out cleanings are. We want to make sure to leave your property sparkling and inviting for those next tennents.

What We Do:

Our move-in and move-out cleaning service includes everything in the standard cleaning. We also take into account many details that will need to be taken care of before the next family moves in, such as:

  • Cleaning inside all drawers and cabinets (Kitchen & Bathroom)
  • Wiping down shelves and the inside of closets
  • Dusting of window ledges

Add-Ons:

Extras are available on request, as your property may need just a little extra polishing up.

  • Inside the fridge
  • Inside the oven
  • Cleaning inside of windows
  • Cleaning outside of windows
  • Pet fee – we know those furry friends can leave behind lots of hair! We want to be prepared going in so that we can ensure it gets all cleaned up.

These are not included in the move-in/move-out price, so please be sure to let us know if you need them added on!

Some Helpful Tips:

We have serviced many move out cleanings and want to make sure it runs smoothly for you, and our cleaners.

We know that you may have already moved most of your possessions out. Please understand that you do not have to be present at the time of your cleaning. Our cleaners have a one-hour arrival window and we don’t want you to have to wait around with no couch to sit on! You can always leave us a key and specify in the booking comments on where it is.

Please make sure to have all utilities working. Our cleaners need water and electricity to ensure that they can do an excellent job on your move-out home cleaning!

Move-in/move-out cleans can take a bit of extra time than our standard clean. We want to make sure we can complete everything and do an amazing job so make sure to schedule other moving services on different days.

What We Don’t Do:

We do not wet wipe light bulbs, as they are too fragile and the risk of breakage is high.

We do not do serious carpet cleaning such as steam cleaning or carpet stain removal.

We cannot clean anything that requires a high ladder. Due to lack of equipment and the safety of our cleaners.

Move furniture. In the event that you ask one of our cleaners for assistance moving something, we will not be responsible for any damages incurred during the move.

Outdoor areas such as garages and patios are not included in our cleanings.

We aren’t equipped to clean any chemical or biological waste due to the safety of our cleaners.
