Our Standard Cleaning Checklist

Sometimes keeping your home clean can be overwhelming. It is a task many do not enjoy.

Perhaps you have company coming into town this weekend. Maybe you’ve had a busy week at work. Everyday you are hauling the kids around after school. Life gets busy. The last thing you want to come home to are more chores.

Professional house cleaning is something you may want to consider. Clean Home Club is here so that you don’t have to worry about all the little details that cleaning involves. We want you to sit back, relax with your family and enjoy your clean home!

What We Do:

Our cleaners are given a checklist to make sure that no stone is left unturned. With a standard cleaning, you can expect the following to be covered:

Kitchen:

  • Load dishes and glassware into dishwasher and wash (if needed)
  • Clean cobwebs from lights, sill, and baseboards
  • Wipe down tables and chairs
  • Clean front and handles of all cabinets
  • Clean and polish hood vent & stainless steel surfaces
  • Clean stove top, burners and control panel
  • Clean inside of the microwave
  • Wipe down light switches and doorknobs
  • Clean and dry sink counters and soap dish
  • Clean counters and backsplash
  • Empty garbage and replace bag
  • Vacuum, mop, or hand clean floor and make sure corners and edges are clean

Bathrooms:

  • Clean cobwebs, dust shelves and pictures
  • Clean and buff all mirrors and glass
  • Polish towel racks and toilet paper holder
  • Clean light fixtures
  • Clean and dry rub tile
  • Clean and dry shower door, track and glass
  • Clean front and handles of cabinets
  • Dust and tidy knick knacks, personal items, and hand towels
  • Clean and dry sink counters and soap dish
  • Wipe down light switches and doorknobs
  • Clean toilet inside, outside, base and lids
  • Empty trash
  • Vacuum, mop, or hand clean floor and make sure corners and edges are clean

Bedrooms:

  • Clean cobwebs, dust shelves and pictures
  • Clean and buff mirrors
  • Dust furniture, lamps, lamp shades and hanging lights (chandlers not included)
  • Dust and tidy knick knacks and personal items
  • Wipe down light switches and doorknobs
  • Tidy area, fold blankets and arrange pillows
  • Empty trash
  • Vacuum, mop, or hand clean floor and make sure corners and edges are clean

Common Area:

  • Clean cobwebs, dust shelves and pictures
  • Clean and buff mirrors
  • Dust furniture, lamps, lamp shades and hanging lights
  • Dust and tidy knick knacks and personal items
  • Wipe down light switches and doorknobs
  • Tidy area, fold blankets and arrange pillows
  • Empty trash
  • Vacuum, mop, or hand clean floor and make sure corners and edges are clean

Add-Ons:

Extras are available on request, as your property may need just a little extra polishing up.

  • Inside the fridge
  • Inside the oven
  • Cleaning inside of windows
  • Load of Laundry
  • Pet fee – we know those furry friends can leave behind lots of hair! We want to be prepared going in so that we can ensure it gets all cleaned up.

These extras are not included in the standard home cleaning price, so please be sure to let us know if you need them added on!

Some Helpful Tips:

We have serviced many home cleanings and want to make sure it runs smoothly for you, and our cleaners.

Please understand that you do not have to be present at the time of your cleaning. Our cleaners have a one-hour arrival window and we don’t want you to have to wait around if you have a busy schedule! You can always leave us a key and specify in the booking comments on where it is.

When booking you will see an estimated time that it will take for your cleaning. This is just an estimate. If you have a specific time the cleaning must be finished by, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

What We Don’t Do:

We do not wet wipe light bulbs, as they are too fragile and the risk of breakage is high.

We do not do serious carpet cleaning such as steam cleaning or carpet stain removal.

We cannot clean anything that requires a high ladder. Due to lack of equipment and the safety of our cleaners.

Move furniture. In the event that you ask one of our cleaners for assistance moving something,  we will not be responsible for any damages incurred during the move.

Outdoor areas such as garages and patios are not included in our cleanings.

We aren’t equipped to clean any chemical or biological waste due to the safety of our cleaners.
